Scope
Manages warehouse inventory and maintains SAP database.
Coordinates and monitors the movement of items throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of Raw Material and Finished Goods.
Review daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in the warehouse.
Manages daily flow of items and instruct forklift operators in modifying storage space assignments
Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
Identifies and reports slow-moving items and with approval, arranges for the removal of the items.
Directs forklift drivers to store goods in identified areas.
Schedule and monitor manpower headcount.
Coordinate and conduct physical inventory of both Raw Material and Finished Goods on a regular basis or as needed.
Check, monitor and confirm items for production usage and update for any lacking.
Analyzes with forklift operators space usage for maximum utilization. Confers with purchasing staff as needed to determine storage space requirements and optimum stock quantities.
Operates forklift trucks as needed.
Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requires sufficient human relation skills to maintain positive work relationship with internal customers and vendors.
Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
